Man on Fire held in Mexico City as the background. Samuel Ramos (Marc Anthony), which seeks to protect the daughter Lupita Ramos (Dakota Fanning), hire John Creasy (Denzel Washington) as her bodyguard.

Creasy is a former CIA member who has had the weight. Creasy initially refused to be a keeper. The shadow of the past to kill and hunt for victims to meet him.
